Not being able to make it to the bathroom in time is a very common worry among younger children, explains Ann Douglas, parenting expert and author of The Mother Of All Parenting Books.
Reassure him that there's likely to be a bathroom right in his kindergarten classroom. "But, even if there's not, the teacher will definitely make a point of showing the entire class where the bathroom is as soon as everyone arrives at school that first day," adds Douglas.
