Marinated Seafood Salad

  • ¾ pound fresh skinless salmon fillet, pin bones removed
  • ½ pound cooked small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cups torn frisée
  • ½ cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 avocado, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium ripe mango, peeled, pitted and diced


  1. In a large bowl, add salmon, shrimp, lemon juice, lime juice, vinegar, sugar, salt, and onion. Toss to combine. Cover and marinate overnight in a refrigerator.
  2. Drain seafood, reserving 4 tablespoons of the marinade. Whisk together reserved marinade and oil in a large bowl. Add frisée, cilantro, avocado, and mango, and toss to combine. Divide salad among 4 plates and top with seafood.
