  • 1 pound frozen, unsweetened pitted Bing cherries, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 cups low-fat plain yogurt

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, bring cherries, lemon zest, and sugar to a simmer over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until cherries soften. Let cool slightly.
  2. Divide yogurt among 4 dessert bowls and top each with cherry mixture.
