Pan-Seared Top Sirloin Steak

  • 4 5-ounces top sirloin steaks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil


  1. Season the steaks with salt, pepper and cajun seasoning, then drizzle with olive oil.
  2. In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, add the steaks and reduce heat to medium. Cook until well-browned on one side, about 5 to 6 minutes. Turn steaks over and cook 3 to 4 minutes more, or to desired doneness.
