At 8 weeks, the embryo is now almost 25 mm (1 inch) long with a head, arms, legs and a tail. The organ systems -- kidneys, brains and eyes -- are developing. Ears are forming and even the tip of the nose is visible. The arms and legs are well formed. The fingers and toes become more distinct.
